CASCILLA — Roy Hayden Smith, Sr., age 72, former automobile mechanic, passed away Monday, Jan. 8,, at University Medical Center in Grenada.
Funeral services were 2 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 10, at Womble Funeral Home Chapel. Interment followed in New Smith Cemetery near Cascilla.
He is survived by his wife, Dorothy Mae Lindley Smith; four daughters, Lisa Smith of Cascilla, Cynthia Annette Morgan of Oakland, Kathyrn Leola McCord of Cascilla and Brandy Kay Smith of Enid; a son, Roy Hayden Smith Jr. of Scobey; a brother, David Lee Smith of Scobey; 14 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren.
The family requests memorials be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
