CHICAGO — Tommy Lee Boyd, age 63, machinist, passed away Wednesday, May 16, in Chicago.
Arlie Strider of Charleston, a senior at Delta Academy in Marks, was named the school’s STAR Student for the 2015-16 school year by the Mississippi Economic Council’s M.B. Swayze Foundation, sponsor of the Student-Teacher Achievement Recognition program.
