CHARLESTON — Sondra Ann Ross, age 59, passed away Friday, Feb. 2, at Methodist Central Hospital in Memphis.
Funeral services were 3 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 4, at Stonefield Church of God near Cascilla with interment following in Magnola Garden Cemetery at Paynes. Newsom Funeral Home had charge of arrangements.
Sondra, a member of Stonefield Church of God, was a retired beautician, and had served as supervisor of Tallahatchie County. Sondra was a great mother and an outdoors person.
She is survived by her mother, Dot Hamblin (Larry) Cole of Charleston; her three sons, Joey (Maegan) Wall of Batesville, Jim Wall of Charleston and Clark (Maegan) Wall of Batesville; her brother, Larry Gene (Lauren) Cole of Enid; her grandchildren, Matthew Wall, Madison Wall, Joe Wall Jr., Colton Wall, Joley-Anna Wall and Lucy-Claire Wall all of Batesville, Eric Wall, Los Angeles, Calif. and Connor Wall of Grenada; and one great-grandchild, Mabry Hoop of Grenada.
She was preceded in death by her father, Buddy Ross; and two brothers, Little Buddy Ross and Eric Ross.
